An item shows it is on "backorder", what does that mean?

From time to time there can be delays in products being stocked or manufactured. If a product is not currently in stock at our warehouse, it will show as being on "backorder".

When an item is on backorder, you can still add it to your cart and complete checkout.

The item DOES NOT SHIP UNTIL IT IS BACK IN STOCK.

Sometimes there is a a few day delay and other times it can be longer. If we are aware of an item that is on your order and will not be back in stock in the near future, we will reach out to see if you'd like a replacement or to continue to wait till the item is back in stock.

When you are viewing any product page, you will see above the add to cart button, it will show the current inventory levels. If the item is on backorder it will read "AVAILABLE ON BACKORDER" as seen in the example image below.
